2020 in 2024 General Conference up date

Today is our Sabbath in Charlotte, North Carolina after the first week of the 2020, held in 2024, of the General Conference of the United Melodist Church.
The General Conference convenes every four year but as a results of the COVID the Conference was not held in 2020 so the 2024 Conference is 2020 delayed. The General Conference is the only body that can make changes to the policies and laws of the United Methodist Church

We had a beautiful fellowship. We had excellent reflections on what Maundy Thursday means to Christians. Awesome reflection by Rev. Andy. Thank you so very, very much. Lenten Activity - Saving Money For Lent

Each year people try to give up something, or take on something for Lent. This year, I am suggesting that you join me in combining giving up something with doing something positive, like saving money each of the 40 days of lent. At the end of Lent the money you have saved will go toward a ministry that helps the lonely, the lost, the least.
